The players of "Call of Duty: Warzone" are eagerly anticipating the upcoming first season reset, but they are encountering some new issues that are making the game almost unplayable.
The update for this quarter has been released today to all players, bringing new decorations, multiplayer maps, changes to the zombie mode, improvements in anti-cheating, and more content to the Call of Duty series. These exciting additions have left many fans of the Battlefield Dynasty unable to enjoy them. Players who successfully enter the game and access the open-world first-person shooter mode will encounter severe visual and gameplay glitches.
The social media websites like X/Twitter are already filled with clips and reports about poor gaming experiences. One widely circulated clip shows streamer Fifakill struggling to move after trying to open the “Create a Class” menu.
The issues don’t stop at Create a Class. Fifakill also shared a clip on X/Twitter that shows off what can only be described as a strange dent in the Urzikstan map where there wasn’t one before.
For some people, the modified terrain on the map may be interesting, but others find themselves unable to access the supply drops. Streaming influencer MerK and other players have found that the precise airstrike killstreak reward no longer notifies nearby players when activated.
This is a warning that could be a matter of life or death for a team, but it is only a concern if you can actually get into the game. X/Twitter user Kaitlyn Smiles, as well as many others, have found themselves caught in a loop where they cannot even access the main menu.
In and of itself, Raven Software, the developer of "Call of Duty: Warzone," has issued a statement regarding the state of Season 1 Reloaded of Warzone. The developer has removed the Champion Task functionality, which required players to win five consecutive Warzone matches or a total of 30 matches in this season, and plans to re-add the feature at "the earliest possible time."
The statement reads, "The current state of the updated build is not meeting our quality and gameplay standards, and we are committed to resolving the issues promptly to ensure all players can fully enjoy the #Warzone experience." "Our goal is always to provide a smooth and seamless experience."
Raven is known for making immediate changes, but has not yet announced when today's Season 1 Reloaded issues will be resolved. However, the team has reported that they are investigating errors with Loadouts, geographical distortions, kill record notifications, and main menu loops.
"Call of Duty: Warzone" had previously planned to introduce the Weapon Caches and Secret Returns functionalities into the experience, but Raven has decided to delay these features due to negative player feedback. It has not been revealed when these features will be available to players.
